Blackmail, Web of Danger and Wake of the Red Witch together with John Wayne were also good selections. Her most memorable roles would be in Angel in Exile (1948) and Sands of Iwo Jima (1949) with Duke Wayne. She was rarely given an opportunity to showcase her talent as an actor in the 1950s, and her work had diminished. Her final film performance as a character in The Big Circus with Victor Mature (1959). Adele then moved on to TV and appeared as an actress in several western films. In the end, she settled down to start a family after her marriage with Roy Huggins. Huggins produced many popular shows such as 77 Sunset Strip (in 1958) and Maverick. Her guest appearances in several episodes were memorable. There were three children. Huggins died in the year 2002.
