The childhood of Pickler was not a smooth one. In order to leave an abusive partner, Pickler's mother left when she was barely 2 years old. Pickler was brought back to her mom in the year 1995 when she assumed custody. It didn't take place as expected. Pickler's grandparents raised her from the age of 12 until the age of adulthood. Pickler could not be a parent to her kids in the absence of their parents. Pickler admitted that she didn't have time to read and began learning how to be a homemaker in her early years. Pickler participated in the cheerleading squads of both her high school and middle school. She graduated in 2004 from North Stanly High School. Pickler has also been a beauty pageant contestant.
