Pickler who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, had a difficult childhood. She was abandoned by her mother when she was just two to escape from an abusive relationship. Then she returned to Pickler's world in 1995 when she was given custody of her. The situation did not work out as expected. Pickler aged 12 was remanded to her parents by court. They raised her until she turned an adult. Pickler had to be busy with her younger siblings in the absence of parents. She stated that her time was limited and she learned how to look after her family at a young age. Pickler was a member of the cheerleading teams of her high school as well as middle school. North Stanly High School was the school where she graduated in 2004. Pickler is also a beauty contestant. Her name was even a reference to Miss Stanly County.
