Felicity Jones is an British actress best known for the role of Jane Hawking. She played the part in The Theory of Everything, which was critically acclaimed. Jones started acting when she was 12 years old. She's been an actor in numerous plays, television shows, and films. Her first role was in The Treasure Seekers, a TV film. Then she appeared as Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch followed by the follow-up Weirdsister college. In her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she played the lead role in), Young Ruth, she went on to play in other movies. Her acting career gained her fame in films such as The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. The most notable was her role in The Theory of Everything that earned her the Oscar for the very first time. Jones was praised by both critics and audiences as she played Hawking's ex-wife for The Theory of Everything, a Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno which starred Tom Hanks was next on her resume. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her exceptional talent and contributions to the cinema.
