Forbes magazine recognized Addison Rae in August of 2020, as one of the top-performing TikToker around the globe. Also, she's one of the top TikTok users. Addison Rae has also become a huge star on YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter. She made her debut as a singer when she released her hit single Obsessed in 2021. The single debuted at number 4 on New Zealand Hot Singles and the video was sixth on YouTube the day it released. Addison Rae was also nominated for awards that are prestigious, such as the People's Choice Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, and Kids' Choice Awards.
