Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress who is best known for playing the role of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS detective procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and the role of Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. She received critical acclaim as Eleni Anderson Cooper in her debut television appearance on CBS' soap opera Guiding Light. She has appeared in 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the creator of the Immortals film Immortals has been adapted for the big screen. Her role will be with Vlas Parlapanides as well as Charley Parlapanides. Her upcoming TV series, Gods & Heroes is currently in production.
